This unique 7-row keyboard is a tribute to the classic layout used on the old Lenovo / IBM ThinkPad series laptops until 2012. It's been a long time since then, but nothing is forgotten. To make the dream of many come true, the guys at Tex have decided to bring the legend back to life. They remembered to sprinkle a pinch of new features on it at the same time.
An interesting fact: the keyboard with mouse button functions uses rare Cherry MX Low Profile Red switches.
This layout saves a lot of space in width while maintaining the number of keys. What was once a design feature of ThinkPad laptops has now become a feature that makes the keyboard stand out from the rest.
If you don't have a mouse nearby, the keyboard can now take over. The pointing stick allows you to move the cursor, and there are mouse keys below the space bar.
There are keyboard shortcuts for music control and pointer stick sensitivity adjustment. It also has dedicated keys for adjusting the volume.
You can create macros, reassign keys, and set up to three
profiles. Programming is done through a handy web configurator that
creates a special .tex file for download. This file can be loaded into
the keyboard memory, allowing you to enjoy individual customization.
Allow you to raise the keyboard and adjust the angle for comfortable typing, while the rubberised bottom stops the keyboard from moving.
Lets you press an unlimited number of keys at once. Useful in games when you need to press multi-key combinations.
